 On the Internet, anyone can pretend to be anyone else. That other kid you're talking to may really be an adult. How can you know for sure? YOU CAN'T.
People you meet in a chat room or in an interactive game may be ok, but they also might be out to harm you. Don't ever give any personal information, even information about your school, church, or city. It might help someone track you down. People may seem to be nice, and many of them are.
